Why is it so horrible that Vinny made some bad choices after many years as a movie star (like that never happens in real life), turtle grew up and tried to make a go of business ventures (like that never happens in real life), Johnny actually got a good gig and e actually got married. Ari went through marital problems (like that never happens in real life). All actors stayed in character. The writers took some ballsy chances, but it was all about having fun and bringing something new to the show.
