'After Earth' - - Worst of the Year

Posted by Billy Wonka on June 11, 2013 at 10:31:03:

Unfortunately, I did not check out the credits on this before I sauntered into the theater. If I had noticed that M. Night Shamalamaranman (the one hit wonder) had made this I would have never entertained the idea of buying a ticket. It was a stretch to see if after suffering 'Oblivion' knowing that all wrecked-Earth-space movies are basically the same. Smith obviously agreed to do this so his son could get his start in the business.

I found this to be a truly inferior script with completely lifeless characters. I am surprised M. Night is still allowed to make films and am hoping someone yanks his writer/director license soon.
