The 1st "prequel" left us asking questions and looking for clarity. It seemed to be a movie about origins. But with some thought one might ask; if not only do we get a peek at the origins of the the alien monster, apparently an engineered organic weapon designed to depopulate entire planets of humanity, but also we begin to wonder if the same "engineers' who designed these "aliens" may also have designed us, humanity. And what was our purpose in their scheme?!.

And once the human species comes to realize this, their true origins, what will they (we) do about it. Perhaps the "sequel to the prequel" will address this.

As gloomy and dark as these movies are, I'm quite certain I will not be able to avoid the next installment. Besides, good science fiction movies are hard to come by.
