Season 3 was the best yet

I don't know what you're talking about. Jimmy's character was the weak link in the show. The most poorly acted and the most poorly written. What exactly do you miss about him? The cliched oedipal plot that made your skin crawl whenever there was a scene with Gillian? The strained-past-the-breaking-point relationship with Nucky? The constant brooding and posturing?

Season 3 focused on Gyp Rosetti, who was also a painful character but infinitely more entertaining than Jimmy. The New York and Chicago development was more interesting than in past seasons, and Nucky's tragic affair, cliffhanger escapes and political maneuvers added a greater level of intrigue. Most uplifting of all, Jimmy's kid was saved from the disgusting prison that his father left him in. What exactly "sucked"?
