Bale and Cooper vs Lawrence and Adams: a draw! Four of the best

performances you'll see this year.
Everyone is screwing everyone, so who's to like? Still, it's hard not to feel for the scammers and their hunters because above them, you know the puppet-masters are being entertained by it all, not threatened in the least.
As entertaining as all this is, it's not a soufflé. There's real substance behind all this effort, if you care to analyze it. Certainly, after the S&L, dot.com, and real estate fiascos, it is hard for a thinking individual not to become cynical and a little aware that laws and their enforcement stop somewhere below that top 5%.
But forget all of that, this is bravura, over-the-top fun.
