Ender's Game audio format fraud on Blu ray

I really liked the allegory of this in the end, but wanted to call out the issue of putting only the Dolby Digital audio tracks on the Blu ray disc. There was no dtsMA or anything available. If this type of greed keeps up, it would make blu rays somewhat pointless.
They spent >$100 million to make the movie. If they could not afford a high definition soundtrack, is this considered a low budget movie these days? Or was it ignorance or greed?
