The original Night of the Living Dead

That one is the true horror movie. One feels sympathy towards the Dead who are hungry and want to eat something. Being dead, they distinguish only fellow human beings. The cant eat vegetables. That picture says a lot, that the dead are waiting for ever for a reincarnation. Or they got impatient waiting for the second coming. That movie makes us wonder about our future, our life after death.
