was a less-interesting/less-exciting etc. re-hash of the first one. Not bad, but superfluous in that the story is really only "moved along" in the last 5 minutes. The promos for Mocking Jay Pt. 1 here are the worst I think I've ever seen, not the least bit enticing to me. I do realize the movies aim for the teenage girl demographic...but the premise was a bit interesting to me, unlike with the Twilights, say.
I like the first one on BD because I think it's overall the best technical movie soundtrack I've ever heard. I don't mean for bombasticity (is that a word?) and whizz-bangs, I mean that it's very subtle and enveloping and has a lot of dynamic range.
