That "P ... " movie is finally on television tonight. My second viewing.

I'm reluctant to say Prometheus because of all the controversy, but even chopped up for TV, there is a lot more to pull out of this flick the second time around. I'm preconditioned for all the flaws, so they slide off like water off a duck. I can focus on the story, and it holds up, even in this format. A very strong, exciting, and interesting film. The religious backbone of the story is fascinating, strangely tied to the Aliens series. Very unique. A lot I I did not pull together on first run. The hook was set for a sequel, with Rapace off to the home world, but doubtful it will appear. Scifi rules.

Today's blockbusters always seem to leave a sequel hook at the end. Standard practice.
