The underlying theme: Womankind's revenge against the world of men. Why, oh why? Because men have the power that women yearn for. Because men can do what women wish they could do.
And so, we have yet another "Woman must save the World" movie. Females are, of course, these essentially pure and nurturing creatures. If they ever seem to be doing evil, it is only an illusion. Ruthless and powerful men give them no other choice.
Some nice special effects thrown in for good measure. 1-1/2 stars.
