Awright, I'll say something about 'American Made' . . .

I liked it! Tommy is way too pretty to be Barry Seal but he managed to present a good 'ol boy persona for the balance of the film. Gleeson was an over-energized CIA guy on speed and Tom's wife was real life talent portraying a good 'ol girl. The life and times of Barry Seal were interesting and compelling. You just couldn't wait for the next bag of cash to appear or see how he would escape, once again.
The story has been jazzed up to make it concise and interesting and it also helps one to understand just how deep into dirty tricks we were. It was fun, with laughs, and had your basic action with gunplay and airplane chases and managed to send up Ollie North and the Nixon White House.
The story is mostly a lighthearted romp with the casting of the Cartels and the subsequent storylines until the end. Seal lead an amazing life if half of the script is true.
You may wait for cable or walk on in for some chuckles--just see it.
