..the films was enjoyable and very well done but didn't really resonate with me emotionally the way the best pictures do.

Although McDormand's character was somewhat sympathetic, she was as angry as most everyone else in the film, other than a couple of characters.

The film's theme seems to be about losing your anger and finding redemption, and at by the end we see she has begun, but it leaves you hanging.
