In fact, to an Asian, she was a banana being American bred. It was a funny moment in the film and not a serious statement, obviously. I had never heard the term before. Amusing.

Ironic a Japanese actress played centerpiece in a Chinese family (that had moved to Singapore).

I enjoyed "Dumped" quite a lot. I'm a big McKinnon fan and find her fun to watch. It was a great "beat the heat" film.
