Ozu Trilogy

We just finished re-visiting that great achievement, and its spell is impossible to resist.

For those not familiar with it, it consists of:

Banshun (Late Spring), 1949
Bakushu (Early Summer), 1951
Tokyo Monogatari (Tokyo Story), 1953

Some people consider Tokyo Story the best film ever made - I am not in love with such labels, but it is most definitely one of several on a short list.
