You might revise your opinion.

DVD scaling to 720p60, 1080i60 and 1080p60
DVD cadence detection for film
digital RGB and YCbCr now allow Below Black and Peak White
Blu-ray can now be scaled to 720p60 for those that need it
1080p24 output for Blu-ray via HDMI for capable displays

(plus mucho etc for games, pictures and other media)
