I don't see how you can say the sample is skewed without evidence. It could be skewed. For all you or DUI know, there could be a HIGHER ratio of people who bought the HD-DVD version without realizing it would not play in their disc machine than the Amazon posts would indicate. Sure, there could be a lower ratio, but without any evidence we're in no position to make that claim either way. One thing you can not ignore is that this is a serious problem and that HD-DVD, by nature of its name, is confusing to consumers.
At least with SA-CD you had hybrids that could play in any CD player.
