Another week has gone by. I am increasingly pleased with the unit's Red Book performance, which seems to have opened up. In addition (and possibly more important for this forum), the unit's Dolby and DTS decoders appears to my ears to be on par with the decoders in my Cary P-7 home theater preamp (to which the Oppo is connected in both analog bypass mode and via digital coax).
