Even though, last week they announced there would be no price cut. So, once again they are trying to undercut the standalones with a toy, a heavily subsidized one at that. No wonder Samsung is putting out a dual player.

EDIT: I doubt it will make that much of a difference. Most people that really wanted the PS3 already have one. Remember, the 20G version sold for $500. Those that want a $500 BD player can get the Sony BD-300 or the Samsung BDP-1200.
