The question is, can existing players be brought up to 1.1 spec with a firmware update or not! Otherwise, who is going to provide enhanced content if it's viewable only by a tiny elite group with the latest B-D players.

Since Jack hasn't mentioned it, I will: HD DVD already has these features and more (probably encompassing the 2.0 spec as well), and existing movies utilize it.
