There are no promises that either format will be around in 5 years, but what fun we can have with Blu-Ray and HD DVD today. With current promotions, you can buy BOTH formats and get 10 "free" movies for well under $850 ($500 for Sony PS/3 + 260 (for Toshiba HD-A2) to 330 (for Toshiba HD-A20) on Amazon). And in high end audio terms, that's a lot of entertainment for the money.

"Planet Earth" was great, and I'm looking forward to "Galapagos".
