What's the latest on HDMI vs. Component cable? Also wrt/length?

I now need a run of either 39' or, if that's too long, 24' (across the ceiling), video only. There are several tested in the URL below, but the item is undated.

FWIW the projector is a JVC DLA-RS1U.
