Blu-Ray Demo at Target Very Impressive

Posted by yata on November 15, 2007 at 15:19:15:

At the end cap there was Sony player, 27"(?) LCD running Blu-ray promotion with movie clips of various. Boy was I stunned and mesmerized by the definition and crispness not only the cartoons but regular movies. I have a 42" 720p plasma, regular DVD, regular RCA cable for a while, and would not hesitate springing for 1080i, hi-def player, HDMI whatever to achieve that realism. Especially on upcoming Thanksgiving or Christmas. I wonder if HD-DVD has made the same impression on others (I have not visited Bestbuy or others that may have demos of such). One of Blu-ray player list $699?!
