HDMI cable interface problems

Posted by Visitor on November 16, 2007 at 14:42:54:

I have a Denon 3910 going into a 37" Sharp Aquos through a HDMI cable. Sometimes when I turn both units on the system works and other times I have to unplug the Denon, remove the cable from the TV, turn the TV on and off or any combination of these things until it works.

This problem has been brought up in some of the home theater mags.

Is there a cure for this? Is there one single way to reset everything that will work every time? Any other suggestions? TIA.
