As I said, something like an HDMI switching box may be an option. I think there are also repeater or booster boxes you can get to enable long runs and one of them may help. You'll need another HDMI cable also (you would with the receiver option also) but having the TV 'see' another device first rather than the player may helpâ€â€but only may. I don't think there are any guarantees in this particular problem area short of swapping one of your components for something that is compatible with the other.
