Any opinion on new Marantz 7002 & 8002 receivers?

Workin on revamping my beach home's HT. I took its Panny 42PX60 plasma out in November and installed it in my bedroom here at home. I will buy a 50" panny 800 when they come out in April or May. So far I have bought a Panny BD30, a coupla Better Cables HDMI cords, and am thinking about the 7002 to drive my Gallo A'Diva Tis and Velodyne sub.
Its a shame that I have to get rid of my old Sony ES receiver there, but it will be even a greater loss to replace my Marantz SR18 here at home. Time marches on I guess if you want the hi def audio to go with the hi def picture.
Anyone here auditioned or own the 7002?
