Any predictions on HD-DVD prices soon to be?

OK I'll take a stab. $79. Just last week they were $129 at Costco.I just bought a Sony DVD at Costco for $45. I hear that downconverting HD-DVD to NTSC looks better than a regular DVD player does NTSC.
