The new pair of SVS subwoofers, their best cylindrical versions, the PC-Utras...

...sound REALLY good after a little break-in and adjusting. They replaced a pair of Bob Carver Dominators that were very good sounding, but WOW. The PC-Us reproduce the LOW-bass frequencies, say from 15 - 30 Hz, much better than the Dominators, so movies like 'Master and Commander...', 'U-571', and 'Black Hawk Down' are more enjoyable.

At $1400, it's a bargain compared with other SWs with that kind of power.

Oh yea...they're NOT small at 47" tall.
