Best Video Demo Disc for HD or Blu-Ray

Posted by Winston Smith on April 30, 2008 at 21:31:41:

Video Mavens!

I am sure that everyone would like to hear what others use to evaluate their TVs and make decisions regarding their relative merits. (I just got into HD, so my experience is somewhat limited.) And while the AVS Forum has such lists, they are only the names, not which cuts and what effect is being evaluated.

So, if you be so kind, please also let us all know why you like it and how you use it for such evaluation (e.g., I use thus and so for black/white crush, definition, and motion; I use this cut on this disc for color and 3D effect, etc., etc.) TIA!!

Happy Viewing!
