Got my new Pioneer plasma hung on the wall a couple of days ago. Last night it just cut off. Manual makes me believe that it was thermal protection that kicked in. Did it again this morning
Called Pioneer. After explaining the problem they asked me to count the # of times the LED blinks after it kicks off and call them and they will send the correct board to the tech to have it replaced.
Lots of internet dealers selling Grey market TV's but if they are not authorized the warranty is void. If you are patient and shop around there are deals to be had at an authorized dealer. But you gotta dig around a bit.
