... nobody wants heavy crt tv's any more. $500 is not a bad price but you might do better. I sold my 34 in. wegga crt hdtv that has a beautiful picture for $200. Many people were asking up to $500 but I don't think they were getting it.

I would pay a little more and get a new 720p/1080i flat panel at costco but if you are convinced that crt is the best picture then go for it.
