Probably a dumb question but is it HD?

Seems i remeber they made a 40" set 5 or so years ago that wasn't hd? If it is HD, does it have an HD tuner? As another poster said, there's some nice 720p's flat screen LCDs out there with tuners for $800-900 or so.
I also sold my 34" Wega for $200.
