Samsung? Firmware updates? A company with the worst track record in providing timely updates to its Blu-ray players shouldn't be grilling consumers with FAQs like "why do I need to update my firmware?": instead, they should be asking themselves "WTF can't we keep up with Sony, Panasonic, Pioneer, etc?".

And as for the condescending tone they have with consumers thinking that upconverting = High Definition/Blu-ray, maybe they should read some of the material that their very own marketing department puts out. [*heavy sarcasm alert*] Makes you wonder how or where the consumer would get such a notion.

(Not shooting the messenger, Ole. But I hope you can see the hypocricy with regard to Samsung, of all companies, taking on the "responsibility" of educating the consumer.)
