with the updated firmware in place I canâ€™t be happier with its performance as itâ€™s much better against my PS 3 (which was my reference for over a year or so) in every aspect of video and sound quality again with all the firmware upgrades in place. Iâ€™ve read most of the blogs in the â€˜net about the Samsung blu-ray player's shortcoming and issues but so far I havenâ€™t experience them with this model the BD-UP5000 could be that the one I bought is a lemon.
