The Denon made a very brief appearance in my home theater about two months ago. Good picture and reasonable sound via the analog outputs, but a fair amount of fan noise. Yes, a $2000 "audiophile" player with a loud cooling fan! The Sony BDP-S300 has significantly less mechanical noise and costs about seven times less. Be careful with the new Marantz, it appears to be a nearly identical design.
