It's not a "stunning" deal, but Denon has done a pretty good job at holding the 3808's price to about $1600 since it was introduced almost a year ago, so the $1300 Costco price is very good if you want one with a proper warranty. I was really keen to buy one earlier this year but now that I've got Apple TV, the Denon's internet connectivity seems pretty trivial.

I'd like to try one of those Panasonic receivers but the last time I checked, they had no offerings with HDMI 1.3 and TrueHD?
