Follow-up on the Pioneer 60" Kuro:

Posted by tinear on August 13, 2008 at 19:05:03:

another arrived, the guys who came with the new one packaged up the old one, just as promised by that leading internet seller with the rain forested name, and hauled it away from the living room.
They also helped set-up the new one and waited for me to test it.
Perfect.
For someone who had zero experience with plasma.... what a shock!
I watched, "Persepolis," a fascinating animated feature, immediately after set-up and it was a fortuitous decision: it largely is black-and-white and the blacks, for which the Kuro is famed, were amazingly dark. Absolute pitch.
Truly an amazing product.
(If anyone here has a Kuro, I'd appreciate him mentioning it: I have a set-up issue which I haven't been able to figure out from the directions......)
