Dedicated KEF center or 1/2 pr. Kef bookshelf's?

Posted by popsy on September 16, 2008 at 10:45:09:

little confusing i admit. :) i was just wondering if taking one of a pair of KEF Q bookshelf speakers would work just as well as a dedicated Kef center such as the model 100. reason is then i would have a backup speaker and since the tweeter on the q is in the middle of the woofer then dispersion problems with "normal" dedicated center speakers should not be a problem. plus, its a lot easier to find a pair of Kef Q's then a dedicated center speaker.
