I have one of these and it works great, but there a couple of negatives if you are a videophile. The device doesn't transmit in HD because Netflix doesn't have HD rights yet, however it is HD capable. It also doesn't transmit any surround sound format, only stereo through an optical output.

The pictures look like VHS and not all movies are available instantly.

On the plus side, Netflix has a great collection of British mysteries available and there is a fairly good selection of classic movies. There is also a very good collection of travel shows.

If you are considering buying it, I would recommend you go to the Netflix website, then look at ahat's available instantly. You can also watch any show available instantly on a PC.
