RE: transporting your system

denon had a 10.1 h.t. rec over 5 years ago.it was $5,000 by order only.I wanted it but could not afford it.I had all the speakers for it.what I did was buy a 7.1 & a 5.1 dasychained the digital outs on the dvd player to both amps.I like concerts so I use it for that.for regular audio I only use the 7.1 with the new surround dsps they have it would probably sound better than what I have.

ps Im glad I went this route because I bought 4 used amps 450rms watts total it can drive 20 speakers.& it was cheaper than the 150 rms watt denon with only 10 speakers.all I did was put 2 speakers in each corner.the only thing I did different was put 2 front centers & 2 rear centers.I like vocals in the center of the room not just in the front.I found a picture of someone crazier than me.he had 30 pairs stacked to the ceiling on 2 walls.he said they were working.he also had a picture of some amps ect.:]
