playing blu and any region red

This information needs to be confirmed, but I thought several of you might like to hear this news.

It seems Momitsu (remember their DVD players?) may have the player for those of you who want a Blu-ray player that also plays DVDs from any region (see my 2nd to last sentence for another unexpected twist). Here are the relevant sites from the link below as of the time of this post:

http://www.hkflix.com/hardware/xq/asp/pid.176/qx/details.htm

http://www.xpcgear.com/momitsu-bdp-899-sony-blu-ray-dvd-stand-alone-player-1080p-up-converting-bd-live-hdmi-usb-host.html

and here is Momitsu's product page:

http://www.momitsu.com/bdp_899.html

As of this time, not much info on their site (many specs like audio decoding, bitstream capability, etc are missing), which is rather odd.

There's a bit more reader-friendly information here:

http://www.atacom.com/program/print_html_new.cgi?Pagecode=SEARCH_ALL&Item_code=DVDX_MOMI_BD_89

which basically says it will decode/bitstream Dolby TrueHD, but will only bitstream the DTS-HD codecs. It also implies that the player is capable of playing not just DVDs from any region, but Blu-ray discs as well.

The price is listed at $349 from Momitsu's vendors.
