There's too many variables to put a single, simple distance limitation.
The transmitted power level and where it's directed will affect reception at whatever distance. And then there's elevations, terrain and obstacles to consider. Unless the OP is your neighbor, then your experience does not apply to his situation.Have you visited www.tvfool.com to get the estimated power levels at your location? You can also get an overlay for googlemaps to view reception levels for your area.
