It's not one of their 1" (depth) models, but Panasonic has revealed an 85" plasma (from their broadcast division) for those who can't quite afford their 103" model (no price on the 85" was given, though). Since it's a 12-series, it should be released by Q3/Q4 09. And yes, it has an optional touchscreen so you pretend you're Kenny "The Jet" Smith during the TNT Halftime show.

These were supposed to be out in 2008 (rumors), but the economy probably pushed them back a year.
