In order to accomplish your goals, you should be connecting a HT receiver/processor to your stereo preamp, not the other way around.

Follow the directions from Rowland, as detailed in their FAQ. The HT receiver must have line-level outputs for the front channels to do this. Many low-end HT receivers do not have line-level outputs for front, center, or surround channels. I've never heard of a NAD "Tivo," but if you meant the NAD Viso, you need to know that it does not have the line-level outputs you will require.
