RE: Plasma TVs and Motion Blur (Compared to Sony XBR CRT)

Posted by Hornlover on July 29, 2009 at 08:39:32:

We replaced our Sony XBR CRT TV with a Panasonic 50" plasma, and the Panasonic has been great. I dont miss the old CRT at all (and I too held on to it a long time because I am picky about image quality). SD DVDs look almost as good as HD (the Panasonic has a great image processor). I dont know about the processing engine in the Samsung. I have seen 50" Panasonics going for 1k at BB, too. The plasma takes no back seat to CRT's.
