Don't worry. I have a 60" screen, and SD DVDs look fine upscaled. Granted, its not as good as HD, but its still good nonetheless.

That would be a HUGE mistake. Do they still sell 720p models? Get 1080p. If you ever get into blu-ray, or get HD broadcasts, you'll end up down rezing them.

Just do it.
