I bought this as an open box item for $70. It's my first foray into Blu Ray. It seems to work fine and I was able to upgrade the software to BD Live. The picture seems to be pretty good though my TV in 1080i and I don't plan to upgrade to 1080P for awhile.

Was this a stupid purchase? :-)
