All ya gotta do is replace a cable at the front of da playa! Might take a non-techie 15 minutes. Do a Google search of "oppo bdp-83 hardware mod" and you'll see some pictures of what's to be done. Last I checked the cable was $100 from the early "profiteers" (uh, no friggin' way I'd pay that), but I'd check to see if places like monoprice, markertech, meritline, etc have the same cable available. If they do, you're looking at <$10 -- including shipping.
