with my REL. I have a REL R-305, there are less expensive models made by REL whose only business is sub woofers. That is all they do.
It is installed differently than most subs. There are 2 hot leads which go to the positive pole on either your amp or speaker (no difference) and one negative lead which goes to the neg pole on either the amp or which ever speaker you want it to.
The cost of REL runs the gamut........I suggest you audition one or two before you buy....
