The 83 finally arrived today. Crap, I forgot my HT router already has all the ports used...

Edit: this upscaling of non-1080p BD material with the BDP-83 has vastly improved my viewing experience. What is shocking is that some of the upscaled BD 480p film clips in docs look better than the same part in the 1080p movie did IMO. I have often noticed that in the old days of (non-upscaled) DVD though too, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised. I guess the docs get different color-timing and processing etc., and are probably not tuned to the movie director's etc. taste which may make them more to my taste.

Still can't figure out the reasoning for why the PS3 doesn't do this.
