Minnesota VikingÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s purple sometimes looks blue

I have noticed over the years that the Minnesota VikingÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s purple uniforms sometimes look blue. On some broadcasts they are purple on some shots such as the sidelines and blue on others.

Why?
